Luxury that begins in the skies. Feeding giant turtles, swimming alongside sea turtles, world-class golf,
morning yoga, paddleboarding, spa and wine-paired dinners – no ostentation, just unforgettable moments. This is the kind of luxury that belongs in the world of PRESTIGE: timeless, natural and authentic. It all begins with the journey – in Turkish Airlines Business Class, where the comfort, space and gourmet menu set the stage for your holiday long before you touch down.

Sometimes, luxury isn’t about glitz and prestige – it’s about those rare moments that make you pause and just breathe. The Seychelles is exactly that kind of place, and the Constance Lemuria and Constance Ephelia resorts are designed to let you soak up those moments to the fullest.
The trip to the islands is an experience in itself. Flying with Turkish Airlines Business Class means your vacation starts the second you board – with comfy seating, plenty of personal space, a gourmet menu and a crew that anticipates your every move, you’ll be fully relaxed and tuned into the island rhythm long before you touch down. The laid-back atmosphere and luxury begin in the air, seamlessly transitioning into the serenity and elegance that await you in the Seychelles. And above all, you can relax during your stopover in Istanbul, which has something special to offer. It’s the perfect way to break up the monotony of the flight – you’ll get to stretch your legs and, with lounge access, the wide range of hot and cold food, especially the traditional Turkish dishes, will be a pleasant surprise. I especially recommend the menemen – a mix of eggs, tomatoes and peppers – paired with their fresh simit bread. And definitely don’t miss the strong Turkish coffee – it’s the perfect kick before your next flight.

LEMURIA: MORNINGS WITH TURTLES, EVENINGS WITH WINE AND GOLF
Located on the island of Praslin, Lemuria feels like a small, peaceful world unto itself. The villas are scattered across the hills, each offering a view so fascinating you won’t want to take your eyes off the ocean.
You can start your morning with a seaside yoga session, where your breath, movement and the gentle sound of the waves naturally sync your body to the rhythm of the day. The underwater world is at its calmest early in the morning, right before breakfast – the perfect time for snorkelling as sea turtles glide elegantly around you. The feeling of being part of their world is incredibly soothing; at least, that’s what it felt like for me.
What’s more, majestic land turtles roam freely throughout the resort. Feeding them is a quiet ritual that clears the mind and reminds you how slow and balanced life can be. The best time to feed them is in the morning when they are most active. Grab some lettuce leaves, take a deep breath and observe their slow pace – it’s a little meditative moment. However, when five turtles head toward you at once, it’s an unforgettable experience.
Land turtles live between 80 and 120 years, while sea turtles usually live 50-80 years. The reason for the divergence is simple: land turtles live at a slower pace, face fewer predators and their metabolism is naturally slow – they use their energy gradually – hence the longer life expectancy. Sea turtles live in the open ocean, face more predators and have to grow faster and hunt for food, which shortens their lives.
GOLF AT LEMURIA: THE ONLY HOTEL CHAMPIONSHIP COURSE IN THE SEYCHELLES
If you love golfing, you’ll find Constance Lemuria a true paradise. It is the only hotel in the Seychelles with its own championship 18-hole course – while there are other 18-hole courses in the Seychelles, none of them are part of a hotel resort. The course offers panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, with every tee surrounded by exotic landscape – palms, granite rocks and turquoise lagoons.
The course is designed to blend a sporting challenge with a relaxing experience. It’s less about the scorecard and more about the pace, serenity and sheer beauty that surrounds you. With every stroke you sink deeper into the island’s rhythm, and time simply seems to slow down.
MY TIP: reserve your morning for 9 holes at sunrise. The island’s light and tranquillity will not only prepare you for the game but for the entire day. After your round, treat yourself to a light lunch right by the water – a reward that perfectly enhances the experience of the beach and the day’s activities.
EVENINGS DEDICATED TO GASTRONOMY AND WINE
Beyond the breathtaking landscapes, the Seychelles offers a culinary experience that’s just as spectacular. An evening meal here is a full-sensory experience. Fresh seafood, seasonal tropical ingredients and delicate spices pair beautifully with a curated collection of world-class wines, carefully assembled by Constance Hotels & Resorts – ranging from French Grand Crus to rare finds from the New World. Far from being a formality, each wine tasting is a conscious pleasure, harmonising beautifully with the setting sun.
EPHELIA: SPACE, FREEDOM AND BALANCE
On Mahé, you’ll discover Ephelia – a resort nestled between two beaches, lagoons and mangroves, where you set your own pace every single day.
Between morning yoga by the lagoon, paddleboarding in a quiet bay and treatments at the Indian Ocean’s largest spa village, Ephelia’s world-class service makes every moment feel luxurious and carefree.
The dining experience feels effortless: light, seasonal dishes with an emphasis on pure, clean flavours. And wine is, of course, an essential part of the journey. Each evening becomes a curated tour of the world’s finest vineyards – from the classics of France, Italy and Spain to selections from the New World.
PRESTIGE TIP: during morning yoga, fix your gaze on the ocean and let the rhythm of the waves wash over you – it is just as calming as a meditative breathing practice. After the class, enjoy a light breakfast of tropical fruit and simply watch the world wake up.
